Description
This poster, presented at Rice University's first Data Science Meetup (http://dsmeetup.rice.edu/), compiles presentations from several conferences: The left side of the poster (originally a PowerPoint presentation) was presented at "Reflection on the One Hundred Year of the New Culture Movement, V" at Peking University in Beijing, September 19-20, 2015. This presentation will be included in the conference volume. The right side of the poster was presented at two different times at two different conferences in 2014: a) Poster presentation on using Gephi and R to plot out the Anhui connections of Chen Duxiu, at the 5th International Conference of Digital Archives and Digital Humanities, “Crossover and Transformation,” co-organized by Research Center for Digital Humanities, National Taiwan University and Academia Sinica Digital Center. Taipei, Taiwan, December 1-2, 2014. b) Presentation at the International Conference on “Modern China in Global Contexts, 1600-Present,” “The Strength of Anhui ties in Chen Duxiu’s Social Networks,” Co-organized by the Historical Society of Twentieth Century China and Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, 11-13 August 2014.
