dc.description.abstractThe thesis of this presentation is that the current therapeutic milieu created by government regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies for physicians treating chronic pain patients using opioids (narcotics) is threatening, both administratively and criminally, which results in unnecessary pain and suffering and a diminished quality of life for the patient.
