dc.description.abstractTeresa G. Hayes, MD, Ph.D. is Associate Professor Emeritus at Baylor College of Medicine.  From 2008 through 2016 she was Chief of Hematology-Oncology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. She is a medical oncologist and former clinical cancer researcher with an interest in radiation effects.  She has made several trips to the former Soviet Union for purposes of cancer education and collaboration.
