dc.description.abstractThomas M. Wheeler, MD, serves as the W. L. Moody, Jr., Endowed Chair and professor in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). From 2004- 2018 he served as chair of the department and is now a Senior Vice Chair. He serves presently as a member of Medical Advisory Board at Medscape, Insightec, Inc., Nucleai, Inc. and BioFluidica, Inc. Dr. Wheeler is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and cytopathology and has served 39 years in academia, presently chief of the pathology service at the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston’s Texas Medical Center. His major academic focus is in cancer, specifically prostate cancer.en_US
