dc.description.abstract | The work presented herein is to describe how the theory of perturbation can be applied to nonlinear torsion problems. The torsion of circular, rectangular, triangular, and elliptic cross sections has been investigated. The applicability of this approach is shown by a comparison with exact solutions obtained for a circular section. | |
