Abstract
Description
Despite its innovations in public health delivery and important strides in improving public health, the prevalence rates of Pakistan’s most common debilitating neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) do not appear to have undergone significant changes over the last 25 years. In this article for PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, the authors discuss Pakistan’s challenges with NTDs and their impact on poverty, child development and overall health in the country.
