Abstract
Ekklesia is the Greek word for Cathedral. The composition is set for full orchestra and lasts approximately seven minutes. Two ideas serve as the basis for the piece. The first is the hymn tune, For The Beauty of The Earth; the second is an original motive, first introduced by the trumpet. Ekklesia, in one movement, is comprised of three sections (slow - faster - slow).
