dc.description.abstractThe current through a circuit constructed by touching two pieces of superconducting Nb together was found to vary periodically with the applied magnetic field. This is attributed to the quantization of the flux enclosed in the circuit. The results are in agreement with those reported by Zimmerman and Silver.en_US
