    Neal Palafox Video Interview

    Neal A. Palafox, M.D., M.P.H. is currently Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, and Professor of Cancer Prevention and Control at the University of Hawai’i Cancer Center. He served in the Marshall Islands (RMI) as a physician and medical director of a U.S. funded program to care for the radiation affected people of RMI. He also served as the Principal Investigator for a US Congressionally-mandated program to provide medical care for Marshall Islanders who were exposed to fallout from the Bravo hydrogen bomb detonation in RMI. Over the last 30 years of his career, he has focused on reducing health disparities in the populations of Hawai’i and the US Affiliated Pacific Island (USAPI) jurisdictions.
