Is it merely the background upon which scenes take place, like the set to a play? I think architecture has more potential than that. It is possible for it to be the place of interaction; or rather it can create a moment of interaction. I propose that through making or interaction this tourist behavior is not present...architecture is. The following thesis explores the moment between dweller and dwelling, the point where the potentiality of making or becoming occurs. My pursuit of architecture lies in this 'making of potentiality'. 1Lars Lerup, After the City, (Cambridge, MIT Press, 2000), p. 3445 ppapplication/pdfengCopyright is held by the author, unless otherwise indicated.
