The components of the G-tensor may be ascertained from the shift of the resonance field with strain at various directions in the crystal as a function of the angle between the applied magnetic field and the c-axis of the crystal. The strain in the sample is measured using four strain gages; one bonded to each side of the sample. Linear shifts of the lines have been measured for all observable transitions at 9.9 Gc on samples with four different stress-axes.
