Thelma Scott Bryant at age 31 sitting by a fountain. The building in the background is Doheny Library on the University of Southern California campus. Thelma joined her husband Ira during the summer of 1936 to type his papers. Ira Bryant was at USC pursuing a Doctor of Education degree.
